About Me

I’m a native Midwesterner, a Buckeye to be exact, and am now comfortable in my Texas boots. 

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism and French from Barry University in Florida, my writing career took me to offshore drilling rigs, aircraft carriers, corporate boardrooms, hospital operating rooms, and restaurant kitchens. To name a few. 

The common thread was that spark of joy, undeniable grit and can-do spirit in the folks who crossed my path.

Big and bold dreams take my breath away. Especially ones that seem unachievable until we put one foot in front of the other. And don’t give up. 

That’s the stuff that fills my heart – and the pages of my books.
